Marmot Venus Down Jacket - 800 Fill Power (For Women)

Wasn't too sure of the light blue when I ordered it but it's actually a very pretty blue. Bright but not too bad. I'm about a true 8 and it fits a little loose but then it gives you room to layer. At 800fill, I thought it would be warmer but like I said earlier, it's roomy enough to layer with a fleece so I'm keeping mine. Also, just saw the same jacket, although in a diff color at a store in town... It was[$] So, buy it here. It's a great deal as always!

I wanted this in white so it would go with everything...my husband has one similar by another company and loves his, but it is navy blue and the fabric was a bit more substantial. I liked the fact that it was very light weight, you could roll it up and take it anywhere and be warm.....but the downside is in the white you could see the feather through the fabric. I am usually a medium 10-12 but ordered a large to be on the safe side. The hip area seemed too small, and the arms were too long.

This is my go to coat for the Fall days as it is very good looking and with the right layering it is just what I need for protection from the ever changing elements. I did not buy it for full Winter days ahead BUT, for casual fall days or out on the town at night it works and looks great.

I really liked this jacket and wanted, wanted to keep it. But something was off for me with the color. In the photo, it looks white white. However, the jacket is lined in blue, and where the quilting is stitched you can sort of see blue from the lining peeking through, so the overall effect is that it's not really white white, rather the whole jacket has sort of a bluish tint. Which, wouldn't be bad but it looks more like a defect, in my opinion, than on purpose.

Not too puffy but very warm!
