Reviewed by Mogulos from Northern Illinois on Wednesday, February 09, 2011Very nice and versatile jacket. Skied with it on a sunny 35* day then a snowy 15* day. Jacket worked well in both conditions, just vary the layers underneath. Also good for shoveling driveway as it breaths and vents well. Now that it's 5* out, a warm fleece and this jacket keeps me warm. Fit seems true but just a bit on the tight side (5'5", 145lbs w/medium) since the cut is supposed to be more slimming vs. a loose hard shell. There's only room for thin layers underneath, not heavy bulky layers. However, with this fit, the jacket also works well as a casual, walk around winter jacket. Anything below 40* I wear the Marmot Vertical; anything above 40* I'll wear my Mountain Hardwear Syncro.
