It is a good jacket for the summer rainy days.

i don't like the mesh pockets, I like to put my hands in them and they dont keep them warm

I hike 14ers and always freeze when I get to the summit. I wanted something lightweight, with a hood that I could haul out at the top and slip on. I can wear a Medium comfortably in most fleece jackets, so I ordered a M. I would have liked it to be just a smidge bigger, but I can fit it over a very thin wool sweater. Large would have been too big. With the hood, it is fantastic. I didn't have to test it's water resistance - so can't comment on that. I wore it while sitting at 12,000ft - late afternoon for 4 hours in a high wind waiting for SAR with my injured friend. I would never have lasted that long without this jacket.

Very nice quality. A little retro in style. My mom loves it. I expect the cotton to soften in the wash. I'm glad I ordered the large.

Backpack seems well made, but it is far too large for shorter back-length people like myself. Backpacks for 15" backs are very hard to find. I will give it to my son to use for his school books.

like the hood.

I just took this tent into the High Uintah Mountains in Utah. The tent is high quality. It didn't rain, but I inspected the seams and they are taped and of course double stitched. Although this tent claims to be a three person tent, there is no way. Maybe 3 little kids, but not three adults. I prefer a bit more room, so this tent is absolutely perfect for two people who want some extra breathing room. The fly was big enough to put our backpacks under during the night. My only complaint is: no footprint. I don't know where to get a footprint for this tent. I've checked online and at [...] without success. We used a tarp and while not ideal, it was just fine.

This is a great vest. It is well constructed, nice looking, warm and cuts the wind well. I walk quite a bit (outdoors) and have a large yard and garden. We live in a coastal area where the temps are moderate and it is often sunny, but there is almost always a strong breeze or wind. Vests are the perfect second layer here - a coat is too much, a shirt not quite enough. This is a perfect vest for warmth and wind protection. I ordered two of them The only thing I did not like was that I ordered them in my ususal size and couldn't even get them zipped. So, I exchanged for the next size up and they are a good fit.
