“I bought these shoes in two sizes (8.5 and 9) for my 21 year "stylish" son, who wanted some loafers to wear with khakis and jeans. He liked the size 8.5 for him, but the first pair of 8.5's I ordered was marked "Sample", and was made of a thinner leather than the pair of size 9 shoes which had no "Sample" markings. I re-ordered another size 8.5, explaining the problem to the Customer Service representative who made sure that the next pair I received were not also marked "Sample".[...]My husband saw the shoes, tried on the size 9's, and really liked them also. He was away on business shortly after receiving them, and used them for extended periods of walking. He found them very comfortable, even on the first wearing.”
