Verified Buyer Reviewed by Old but Still Moderately Discriminating from Washington, the state on Monday, April 7, 2014When I saw through the protective clear bag the actual coloration and texture of the shirt, I knew instantly it'd be a waste of time removing the shirt to examine it further, let alone try it on. The shirt in person is not at all what I'd expected it to be after viewing it on the STP website. It was more backwoods prepper than the usual sophisticated officewear I'm used to purchasing in Martin Gordon shirts. Had high hopes for the latter, but was sadly disappointed.
Reviewed by Edathome from Massachusetts on Thursday, March 6, 2014I bought the Sage version of this shirt, and when I received it was pleased that it actually did look like the photo. Not a cold-weather shirt, to be sure; rather, more of a loose weave. I am 5'11" and 177lbs and I bought a Large, which is what I have worn for many years. The length was good, sleeves and neck were fine, but it was just too tailored. It tugged on my upper back and tucked too firmly into my armpits. A shame. I really liked the easy drape of the material. But back to STP it has gone, maybe someday to be resold to some slim customer.

Reviewed by Steve O from Michigan on Tuesday, February 11, 2014I suppose at the discounted price you pay it's a good shirt, but not on par with the outstanding values you may be used to at Sierra Trading Post.
I have a very hard time believing this shirt has a list price of $135 given the lack of finishing details. The pattern on the pocket flap did not match up with the pattern on the pocket, which is just not something you see in a shirt that expensive. That said, this shirt is better than what you see on the shelf at Walmart.
Although it hasn't been through the wash, I'm expecting to have to wash on cold and lay flat to dry since the material looks like it will shrink if any heat is applied.
If you are between sizes, order the next size up. The shirt I bought seemed to be just a bit on the small side, and that will protect your fit if it does shrink a bit.
