“The first thing I noticed was how similar this rod was to my fly rod costing 3 times as much,the martin casts just about as well and has a very nice hook keeper, every time I use it it casts very far over a hundred feet and with accuracy, roll casts are no problem for this unit, I really like the forest green finish and rod tube that comes with this rod, you would have to spend at least $300 or more to get better preformance than this Martin, so if you are on a budget this is the rod for you alot of prefomance for a small price. Actually I own several Martins that I purchased when I first started fly fishing and discovered how good they really are, I now have several high end fly rods but I still really like my Martin, great value you just can't go wrong.”
