“Excellent rods for the price”

“I bought a couple of these in 8 & 9 wt. for red and silver salmon fishing - mainly next year as we are almost into winter here in Alaska. I catch a LOT of fish in the summer and put my rods to really hard use each year - more than most fishermen will see in a lifetime. Rods look very nice at the sale price. The heavy duty aluminum cases are very nice - much better than you would expect for a rod in that price range. Match one of these rods up with a Okuma Helios reel and you can have an excellent salmon setup for around $200. Negatives: No stated warranty I can find and fighting butts are screwed on - sure to get lost on the first trip unless you Loctite the threads.”
