Beautiful coat! Warm, lightweight and very stylish. I have received many, many compliments when I wear it! The perfect career coat for the frigid upper Midwest.

The best stargazing is in cold, clear skies. I am an amateur astronomer and needed a warm coat that doesn't also make me look like one of the guys. The seams add enough shape to keep my girlish shape but without as much bulk as some other coats I have seen. I like the big collar for warmth, but I am concerned that my makeup will rub onto a collar that sits so high if I want to wear it someplace a little fancier. Pockets are deep and well placed. Great coat!

Great coat for dressing up when going out in the real cold weather.Exellent construction with knit cuffs on the sleeves and in inside pocket. Collar is really big but not too big. This coat will keep you warm over a suit or dress. Good length for skirts/dresses without being too long. Yes it's puffy but still has shape unlike some down coats that make you look like the Michellen man.

This is a beautiful stylish 3/4 coat which is fab in snow conditions to just a walk in the winter cold. I love its classy look but equally casual.

This coat feels like a big cozy down comforter, without all the bulk. Unlike other down coats I've owned, this one actually has a waist! In spite of its lack of bulk, it's still very warm. At 32F, I need to leave it unbuttoned so I don't overheat. I think it will be ideal when the temps dip into the teens and twenties. Things you don't see in the product description: *The shawl collar will close with a button and loop, another option if you don't like the shawl collar look. *The lining is a microfiber fleece. It's very soft and comfortable, but it does make the coat weigh more than an unlined down coat. *There's one interior zippered pocket on the chest, and two exterior zippered pockets cleverly hidden in the seams. Initially I had trouble with the zippers and snaps. The zippers wouldn't unzip, and the snaps were so tight I was afraid I'd rip the fabric trying to get them undone. But I rubbed some candle wax on them, and now they're just fine. When I ordered, bone was the only color left, and I was worried that it would be impossible to keep looking clean. So far it hasn't been a problem. Today I my dog tripped me while I was walking him and I took a hard fall on rough pavement. I was sure the coat would be ruined and I'd be leaking feathers all the way home. Yet when I examined it, there were no breaks in the fabric and only a couple of small dirt marks which rubbed off easily with a dampened cloth. I was amazed!

This coat is fabulous!! Love the style and fit and its warm beyond belief.
