These shorts are great for the golf course

The quality is obvious, but the legs are way long for shorts -- no higher than about the knee on my 31" legs -- and they are narrow, almost as if a stovepipe. Maybe it's a cool look for someone 25 y/o, but not working for this 51 y/o.

Mason's is normally made in Italy;but description stated that. Quality cotton (Pima) is from Peru so I overlooked the sourcing. But the shorts are quite snug. Normally Italian garments do run tailored but on these--order size up.

These are true-to-size; my husband wears waist size 32 and these shorts in size 32 fit him the way they should. Please note that some manufacturers may use "vanity sizes" – these shorts are not made in that style; Mason's size 32 is indeed 32 and no slack is given. Hence, if one is on the borderline of sizes, I'd suggest ordering one size larger. I got these shorts in Nantucket red and stone, both colours look great. Looking for white now.

I have a dozen or more pairs of Mason pants (from retail stores) that are very well tailored and have great fabric and fit. These, of this EM line, are not made in Italy and are snug in their waist, and rather long in the inseam. Neither of these factors was enough of a problem to return them, as they are handsome in overall appearance. However,I'm 6'3" and if they seem long on me, beware, more normal-stature buyers who may have put on a few pounds over the winter. I haven't yet washed them either.
