I would rate these higher if they had more tread on the soles. Time will tell if these soles are adequate.

Excellent construction and material quality. The shaft is very soft. If you want a stiff upright segment this will not meet your requirement. Made in USA. Top quality. This boot is a winner. Thank you STP for providing American made products.

One of the leather pull-on straps came off the first thing out of the box. Upon closer examination the stitching is too fine and actually cuts through the leather. Pull-on straps should probably use tougher leather.

Great quality boot for about half the $ my wife paid for her Frye boots and mine are almost the same boots. I've got a pair in black as well. I did treat them to some weatherproofing treatment which really spiffed up the finish on the leather.
