    Great quality boot for about half the $ my wife paid for her Frye boots and mine are almost the same boots. I've got a pair in black as well. I did treat them to some weatherproofing treatment which really spiffed up the finish on the leather.

    One of the leather pull-on straps came off the first thing out of the box. Upon closer examination the stitching is too fine and actually cuts through the leather. Pull-on straps should probably use tougher leather.

    boot companies all seem to have different sizes of the same shoe but they don't all measure the same.[example: a frye size 12 might not be the same size 12 as a cardinal boot. it is difficult to know what my foot size truely is. my last pair of boots was a bit too big because of the differences in sizing. good boots but sizing needs to be uniform so people know what their shoe size is.

    SUMMER 1968 I bought my first and (up until now)last pair of "Rebel Boots" After being reheeled and resoled many times they finally gave up the ghost 12 years ago. I started looking for a new pair 20 years ago and no one knew where or who to contact. Thanks to the internet and google I finally have my old friends back in place. They are comfort food for my feet.

    I wanted a pair in this color, but there were no women's sizes and finding them in a women's wide would only happen in my dreams. I have been looking for several years now. When I saw these, I figured out my men's equivalent and ordered a pair. They are totally awesome. I found that if I order a man's size in one size smaller than the women's size, they fit like a charm.
