I was concerned about the sizing, having read that this shoe runs small. I usually wear a 5 1/2 to 6 street shoe, and a 6 1/2 in running shoes. But I ordered the 6 (also described as 35 2/3), and it fits just right! I probably won't wear thick socks with them, but I tried them on without socks too, and there seem to be no rub spots. STP has the best pricing too (as usual). I am looking forward to walking in them and tightening up my rear end! :-)

I wear these MBT shoes every opportunity. They pull my shoulders back - my tummy in - and I feel like I'm gliding along the floor. Fabulous!

I purchased my first pair of MBT shoes about 5 years ago at a speciality shoe store and paid [$]. The prices at Sierra Trading Post are awesome.

I had to send these back. I have problems with my feet and lower back after standing/walking all day, and I thought, from reading the reviews, that these might help. I didn't buy them because I thought they'd tighten my behind or tone my legs, but simply because I needed a shoe that I could wear for many hours and not have pain. And this shoe just isn't right for that. They are very very bulky, which I expected, but what I didn't really think would be a problem turned out to be - they are very heavy. I weigh about 110 lbs. and it felt like I was lugging around cinderblocks on my feet. I only wore them around the house, because that is why I bought them...good thing because they are too ugly to wear out of the house. I'll keep looking. There has to be something out there that doesn't weigh much, doesn't hurt my feet and isn't so unsightly.

I did order 1/2 size larger as others recommended and they fit perfectly. They come with a cushion inside and are SO comfortable, I love these shoes. I did not really have to wear them for short periods to get used to them as some others have. I do feel as if my legs are working harder and these are so comfortable I wear them every chance I get.

I love MBT shoes. Go to a retail store first and get sized for their shoes. I think the sizing is different. The prices on STP are unbeatable. Good shoe with slacks, jeans, or cords. Gives a nice laid back feel.

Because of my age and left leg issues, these shoes made me feel unstable. (rocking motion because of sole design) Therefore I had to return them. If you are perfectly healthy and have no balance issues I think these shoes would be great!

I am on my feet 12 hours a day. I walk all day long, back and forth from one wing of the hospital to the other. By the end of my 12 hour day, my legs have gotten a great workout. You must remember to gradually increase the time you wear your MBT's, because it takes some getting use to. I started out with 10 - 30 minute walks and it took me about 2 weeks until I could wear them all day long. Be prepared to have sore legs. I am petite and slim, and I exercise regularly. But, the MBT's work out different muscles. And if you don't wear them for an extended period of time, you have to work yourself back up to wearing them all day. MBT's really do what they say, they work out your legs and glutes. It's not a pain free way of getting your legs into shape. It really is a workout. The only problem I had with the style of my MBT's were that they were a little too narrow for my feet. Thank goodness for the adjustable strap! MBT's are worth the money. Don't be cheap and buy the 50 or 60 dollar imitations. If you want results, you have to buy the original and use them right.
