I got the Medima long underwear for my 90 yr old father who is always cold. He loves it! It's very soft against his skin and it helps keep him more comfortable. My order was delivered in only a couple of days. Couldn't be happier with this choice! Thank You!

In the chill midwest, underlayers are de riguer from fall through spring and I've owned all the well-known brands in merino wool and polyester and these Medima angora/merino blend garments are truly exceptional. The quality of the material is luxurious due to the high angora content while the wool provides warmth in an incredibly light weight garment. The design exceeds most anything produced here in the States: all seams are flat and reinforced. The seat is U-yoked and there a wide double-fly and a broad, comfortable no-roll waistband. Unconditionally recommended for quality and utility. I have read the other reviews and emphasize that it is underwear not casual wear and fits snugly so as to fit well under clothes. Sensitive skin might have issues but these are so smooth and comfortable as to be like butter. Sierra's great discounts make these garments a true value and bargain. These are difficult to find in the US and these regular discounts make me a regular customer of both Sierra Trading and Medima!

Some important points about this product are that the ankle opening is very small and does not stretch or give any bit. I bought these hoping that they would be very good quality all around but i came to find out that was not the case. First off when i tried to put my foot inside of the product it would not fit and i was hoping that it had some stretchyness or giving fabric to it, but it didnt. So I tried to fit my foot inside and it began to rip. I got the product on and when i took it off it began to rip also. Not good. Also the rabbit fur is a bit itch and not as nice as straight merino wool. If you have a small foot though, then this would be a pretty good product. hope this helps.

An upcoming visit to Iceland made it imperative to have a pair or two of high quality long underwear bottoms available. These will do for trekking and bicycling in Iceland. These are not scratchy. These feel good when relaxing around the house, too.

I wear this product with dress slacks, to give me an extra layer of warmth the only way to, make this product better is to add more Angora wool.
