Really nice blanket. Lightweight and well-made. I expected it to provide a little more warmth. Not a solo blanket for real cold nights. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied with it.

I have bought at least 15 or 20 of these Melange Hotel Collection comforters for my house and my husband's. We rent out rooms to tourists and find that these comforters are the most practical and are easy on the budget. The colors are wonderful--rich and tasteful. The microfiber holds up better than regular poly-fill and washes and dries in no time. Even the king-size should fit in todays standard washer and dryers. There is no concern about allergies, because there is no down. The cotton cover is an excellent fabric and the satin binding is a great little detail. I have used two different thicknesses--a summer weight or top cover, and the medium weight--which is fine for anything but the coldest winters. They are so attractive you can use them as is, or put them in a duvet cover. I haven't found anything on the market in the last five years that compares. I've seen the same product in stores and on the web, but Sierra Trading Post prices are always the best!

This is a great blanket. I purchased the aubergine/eggplant color and it is a nice dark shade of purple. Other reviewers have commented that it makes a crinkle noise - it does have a crinkle noise but it is hardly noticed. It is VERY warm - would be too hot for summer months, but is lightweight.

This light weight blanket could stand alone in Spring and Fall and be used in the winter with another similar weight blanket added. It is well made and attractive.

These are real nice Blankets.

We were looking for a blanket that would give us the warmth of a comforter without the bulk. This blanket does that and is great for our Colorado winter nights. I expect to use it during our transition seasons as well. The only negative we have found is that is "crackles" a little when we move it.

Should of purchased two

We use the blankets on our bed and guest bed. We have also taken it to use in our living quarters, in our horse trailer. Warm blanket,not hot. Light weight. I like everything about the blanket.

The size is great, but after laundering, there is a crinkly noise when the blanket is touched and/or moved and the fabric isn't as soft as before laundering.
