    I hate most blankets on the market today. Nylon and polyester blankets pill and don't "breathe". and wool blankets itch. So, I like cotton blankets for 3 seasons, and use down and silk comforters in winter. These are excellent quality cotton blankets. They are tightly woven, mid-weight blankets that should last a long time.

    When this blanket arrived, it had a very strange smell and the fabric felt very rough. I washed it before using with mild detergent and fabric softener. It came out beautiful. Now I love the smell and feel of this blanket.
