    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I had high hopes for these sheets but I will be returning them. The white color is see-through so if you have any stains on your mattress pad (and who doesn't?), it's not going to look good. Also, the corner seams of the fitted sheet looked like they would come undone after a couple uses. I am not a sheet snob, I can't afford to be, but these didn't even meet my fairly low standards. Bummer.

    Thank goodness for STP's return policy. I knew these were poor quality as soon as I opened the package, but I washed them anyway and was going to give them a try until I held the bottom sheet up to the light and could see right through it.
