Mephisto Acarie Shoes - Flats (For Women)

Discontinued colors and styles. Made from a velvety suede calfskin, Mephisto's Acarie flats come to a delightful focal point at the toe, where a softly petaled flower is accented with a spray of faceted beads.

the Mephusto Acarie shoes are dressy enough for most events, but still are good for jeans and casual events. The shoes are comfortable and true to size.

These shoes are beautiful and very feminine. It took me a couple of days to get used to the narrow toe area. Now they are very comfortable. If you wear wider fittings, you may like to try a half size larger. For me the sizing is perfect. Really good support. Very attractive and practical shoe. I highly recommend this product. Beautifully made.

I will keep theses shoes because they are so pretty and perfect for travel when you will need to dress up a bit. But they do not have the high comfort level of most Mephistos. Being ballet slippers, they arrive sort of folded in half... When you wear them there is pressure on your heel from the elasticized structure of the shoe. So I just slip them off occasionally, under the table, for a little relief!

These shoes are great, typical Mephisto quality except for running small. I ordered my normal size 9 first but found it too small. Ordering a full size up to a 10 was perfect.

Also, the turn up of the toe of the shoe related to the elastic was a bit annoying but bending the shoe backwards fixes that annoyance.

These shoes did not look like the ones pictured. I was not expecting them to be elasticized, a kind of shoes I avoid because they dig into my heels. I sent them back.
