    The height of these boots tends disguise the fact that many of my casual pants are too short due my own long leg length. Thus, I wear them for their comfort and for their camouflage! Price was right through Sierra Trading Post.

    Ordered one size larger than my usual size, and I'd say they still fit close--I won't be wearing any big wool socks with these--but don't need thick socks, because the shoe is heavenly comfortable inside. Bought them as shoes for traveling and doing lots of walking over mixed terrain and so far think they are terrific.

    These don't run a whole size large as noted in the description, just half a size. I'm a 7-7.5 and the 7.5 fits very well and the 8 works with really heavy socks.
