    Although these shoes are a half size too big, I keep repurchasing them!! They are the grown up version of french mary janes and I take them traveling everywhere. I wear them on the plane with comfortable leggings, then switch to a dress for a more formal look. As a dentist, I control a lot of equipment with my feet. The heal leather does break down, but I put them to the test. Nice,durable,quality shoes !!

    These shoes were comfortable right away. I like the cut and the style. Great deal on Mephistos--still pricey but worth it. They're definitely not patent leather, however.

    This is a rare case where I decided to send these back despite having worn them. I tried them on at home and they felt fine, but they gave me blisters due to the stiff patent leather across the toe area. Mephisto are a high-end comfort brand, but I did not think these were that comfortable or that stylish. Insoles were also not very supportive and made my feet hurt.

    This is a great shoe. It is my second pair. I wear only Mephistos as the arch support is so good and they are so comfortable. The styles keep getting better. They are expensive, but worth it.
