Mephisto Storm Walking Shoes - Leather (For Men)

I LOVE THIS SHOE. I WEAR A 11 AND A HALF. I ORDERED A 12 AND ITS PERFECT. LOTS OF STYLE AND QUALITY. LOOKS DRESSY WITH JENES. I WEAR IT FOR DRESS. LOVE THIS SHOE. I THINK YOU WILL TO. BUY A PAIR AND SEE WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. I WOULD ORDER A HALF SIZE BIGGER THEN YOUR FOOT SIZE.

An expensive shoe, but well worth the price. The shoes require virtually no break-in period and are comfortable on first wear. It's suggested to buy a half size larger which makes them roomy. Best yet, Memphisto will replace the soles for a fee when worn down. By contrast, most tennis shoes have to be thrown away. I used to be loyal to Keen shoes because the toe box was wide, and the quality was good. However, my last pair fell apart after a year. I recently returned two pairs of Keens because the quality is now sub-standard, but the price is still $100 plus. For a quality walking shoe, I've switched to Memphisto.

Seriously huge, clunky shoes. Grandpa style..

Mephisto's at full retail are too expensive, but finding this pair @ STP for a big discount makes me a winner. Walking in these do not aggravate back issues I have, so thanks STP for making these available.

Mephisto's quality is legendary, and this one lives up to it. It's made in France (I believe some of their shoes are now manufactured outside of France).
