These boots are a great find: excellent fit, meticulous waterproofing, and as flattering a shape as you could find in this type of footwear. The sole has deep traction grooves, and the lacing is set up on an adjustable gore, without any openings, to stop the water or slush.
I bought them at the end of season, to wear next winter. Hoping to navigate thru the snowstorms with no problem now.

I needed a boot with a waterproof foot to wear when I slog my way to the mailbox (100 yards from the house), take out the trash, or get caught in the rain while shopping. These are only waterproof up to the seam around the ankle, which is good enough for me.

They're a little more on the stylish side than hiking boots, which I like. I have several pair of hikers and they're too heavy for everyday wear. The only thing I don't like is that the sole is a bit stiff so I'm clomping around. I hope that goes away once I wear them in.

These are light enough, and comfortable enough, to wear around the house, which I am currently doing. They're a little too chunky to wear with a skirt but they're perfect with leggings.

I normally buy a size 7.5 so I'll have room for an insole and heavy socks. These have enough padding in the sole that I don't need an insole. I don't think there is room for an insole now, so they do run a bit small.

Stylish, yet comfortable and practical, to boot :-)! Before buying, I read someone's review saying the zipper had broken. If unzipping the zipper, I find that it can catch on the internal gusset that seals the lower portion of the boot against external moisture. This gusset ends at the ankle. If the zipper catches, reach inside and coax it carefully over this spot. That requires some patience and dexterity, without which the zipper might break. These boots kept me warm on a 0 F degree day even though I wore only thin socks and had to stand quietly for a half hour at least. They are comfortable to walk in. Knowing what I know, I'd buy them again.
