Ordered this because I went on a trip and it was cold and pouring and I did not have a proper jacket to protect me from the elements. This jacket will fit the bill in the future (rain/wind/warm-probably good for 25 to 55 degree weather). The fit is great--nice long (but not too long) sleeves and g... Read More

Haven't used it in bad weather yet, but looks like it will hold up well. Yes, as others said, tight in the armpits - but there are zippers that easily let you adjust and open that area. Great jacket for Winter wear.

I really like this jacket! I was looking for something to wear during those in-between-winter-and-spring months when you have cold, rainy days. I got to test this jacket right out of the box, and it did its job - kept me warm and dry on a cold, rainy walk with the dogs. I ordered the XS, and the proportions seem more a petite size (which fits me perfectly.) The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars...? The snaps seem pretty tight (I'm scared to further snap/unsnap them, as it seems like the snaps may come out of the fabric), the hood could be a tad bigger (to fully shield my face from driving rain), and the length a bit longer (to keep my thighs dry.) Overall though, it's a great jacket for the price.

I wear a raincoat most days in the winter/fall in rainy Seattle, but found that a "shell" wasn't warm enough some days. This coat is a nice raincoat that is definitely for cooler, wet days. I found it to be a little tight under the arms, but discovered that the coat has pit zips, so a little unzipping and the coat fits perfectly. I do wish it were a little longer to provide a bit more rain protection, but otherwise, the coat is a great buy.

The sleeves are not too long and the arm holes are not too tight. I'm usually x-small to small and ordered a small. Good for 30s-40s temps, wind, and rain.

More insulated than I expected but still really form fitting and small. If you have long limbs you might find the sleeves too short. This fits me just right but sleeves are usually too long and everything is usually generally too big all over for me.
