Merrell Acapulco Sport Sandals (For Men)

Bought these to use next Spring / Summer for day hikes with my wife around the lake were we live. Could not pass up the deal. I have only wore these in the house as it is getting too cold out for sandals here in beautiful Ohio. They do run a half size to a full size small and are narrow. That is good for me, as i have narrow feet and have had a hard time finding sandals my size that run narrow. The foot bed and straps are comfortable, not rough and do not rub feet / ankle. Seem stiff at first, but after a short break-in period feel just fine. The shock cord laces are OK, will tighten up the sandals somewhat (I prefer adjustable strap with quick release buckle). So far I like these sandals and cannot wait for next Spring.

I always can buy Merrels without trying them on. But in this case the foot bed was way to narrow and constricting. Not form fitting like I am used to from Merrels

Merrell shoes are very well constructed and these were no exception. Unfortunately, they were a gift that I had to return because they are a full size smaller than what is indicated on the shoe. I have experienced this before with men's Merrell's (not women's)so should have been wary. I was unable to exchange for the next size up because that was not available. The "giftee" liked them very much so I was willing to purchase from another store for a higher price. You just can't beat Sierra Trading's prices and have to accept that if you need something in another size or color.. and can get it somewhere else. e.g. that speaks to the quality of this brand.

My husband has wide feet and these didn't work so we had to return them.

I can't really comment on the product because I couldn't wear the shoes. The shoe size was small. [...] back to the store the shoes went.

I work as a tour guide in Australia and i find that these sandels are ideal for some of my tours. There stylish and comfortable and i would definatly buy more merrell products.

They look great and feel great!
