Merrell Barcelona Leather Shoes (For Men)

I have Merrell's 'element' shoe, so my expectation was for a better forefoot fit that I got. I lean toward 'lace-to-toe' models to get the right snugness in that area. Except for this shortcoming, these would have been great (for me). But had to return them.

I ordered these for my husband, who really needed an alternative to hiking boots. He wasn't sure about the style at first, but they have grown on him, and he has gotten compliments from his co-workers. Nicely made, stylish and durable shoes, in my opinion.

Neat shoe. A little warm for the summer, but will definitely be wearing these during the fall/winter.

They are great any time you are going to do alot of walking or standing. And they look awesome also!

I have a size 14 foot and I am hard to fit. Most casual office acceptable shoes hurt my feet but not these.

The product is well designed as a retro design goes. The sneaker looks good as it was designed to look. I wear these sneakers with casual clothing like jeans and khakis etc. The construction materials are of very good quality and at the Sierra price it represents decent value. High Top Sneakers always had to be unlaced and these are no different in keeping with the traditional design.

I am a woman that often buys men's shoes for their comfort, quality and style; these are just plain cool as far as the style goes, if you like shoes/boots that are a bit different. I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy and comfortable they were as well, but I guess that's not surprising since they are designed by Merrell. I have a narrow foot, so I needed to order a 7.5 rather than the 8 that I often wear in men's shoes and that resolved the "too big, too wide issue" for me. For men, I believe they would be true to size.
