Verified Buyer Reviewed by Steve from Northern California on Wednesday, November 5, 2014I don't know why Merrell's discontinued the barefoot shoes, I love them. They're incredibly lightweight but sturdy and amazingly comfortable. They don't have a lot of cushion, and I like that. Like converse tennis shoes, you're just closer to the ground. My last pair of Merrell's shoes lasted me over two years - but two years of every day wear, traveling all around the world, throughout Europe, the US, Fiji Islands...I still have them, but wear them only in the garden as they've completely fallen apart but are still wonderfully comfortable. They run just a little small, so I wear a 13 when I typically take a 12 1/2.

Question “Two things.||1) I see no sizing notes, but I'm still concerned about whether 10 or 10.5 would be best since I expect to wear these both with and without socks.|2) That small height heel and sharp V at the heel opening of the shoe looks like it might easily cause blisters. Has anyone taken these for a "test walk"?”
Answer According to our fit models these shoes are running true to size and width.||http://www.sierratradingpost.com/lp2/shoe-fit-guide/
