Reviewed by dkkoots from Ohio on Tuesday, May 21, 2013These minimalist type shoes have really helped reduce soreness in my knees caused from running. The shoes have a harder rubber compound on the sole than the Trail Glove (I wore through the sole of my trail glove running on mostly asphalt/concrete in a matter of months). These also are full of mesh, so they are cooler than the Trail Gloves but also any amount of water on the road will result in wet feet.

I run 6.5 miles on a paved road so I was a little skeptical of how comfortable they would be. Overall they are a light shoe with a nice arch, although I'm not sure they do anything extra for my stride. I have noticed my heels don't take the pounding I thought they would with the barefoot design. I think these were a good purchase at the discounted rate, but I don't think I would pay $100.00 for them.

They are countoured perfectly to my feet, have a very wide toe box, and essentially no padding. The soles grip extremely well and provide good traction on a variety of surfaces. The materials are heavy-duty yet pliable and the shoes feel great on the trail or road. Highly recommended.
