I loved the look of these shoes and ordered my normal size based on other reviews. They were way too small so I ordered up a half size and these were still too small. I think they are just not shaped for my foot so unfortunately second pair are going back as well. They look so cute I was very sad they did not fit me.

I normally like Merrell shoes, but these are the most uncomfortable shoe I have tried in a long time. They didn't even fit the shape of my foot, and the heel was stiff and wide. Not a very flexible shoe in the upper area. I am used to wearing Vibram Five Fingers shoes, which feel great. I was expecting these to feel better on my feet. The colors were nice!!

I bought these shoes because other reviewers thought that they ran narrow. I have to say that although I just love the style and comfort of these shoes, I have to lace them as tightly as the shoe will allow, and the toe looks like a clown's foot on my foot. Still, I'm kind of stuck because manufacturers have cut back on making narrow shoes through the years. I may be able to insert an orthotic to take up some of the extra room, but it seems such a shame to do this to minimalist shoes. The only athletic shoes that fit me are Mizuno narrow. These are quality shoes. I wear an 11AAAA or Super Slim. I find New Balance Narrow shoes are too wide.

When I saw the pink bright color of these shoes I fell in love with them, so I ordered a pair. They are true to size, however are a little snug around the heel, but that's ok since I have very narrow feet. Very, very comfortable. I will be ordering another pair.

this is the first pair i have ever ordered. I have struggled with plantar fasciitis in past, and bunyons. ug ,.. these are awesome, I have had NO problems, and I would order again. True to size, in some shoes i wear a 9.5 but in these a 9 is just right.

I'm on my second pair of these in a year and a half, but only because I lost one in an airport. I've worn them nearly every day in all sorts of situations - bartending, hiking, trail running, traveling - and they've held up beautifully. The toe box is wide enough for my toes to splay out fully while I'm running, a problem I've had with more conventional running shoes. They also promote the same sort of fore- or mid- foot strike as other 'natural' running shoes without looking weird. I love my Five Fingers, but I just can't wear them all the time. Labs, restaurants, barns, and classrooms just aren't really a good idea with my toe shoes. Not to mention that it's no fun to wear Five Fingers in the middle of the Nebraska winter. I HIGHLY recommend these shoes.

I have soem Five Finger running shoes that I absolutely LOVE, and was looking for something just slightly more substantial, so I tried these. I really like the design, fit, and feel of these shoes. There is not all the foamy, elevated padding under the foot, so your gait and stride are more natural. They are well made with a unique lacing system -- I'm not a tight-shoe runner, but if you are, these can really be laced tight. The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is probably my fault, but I think I ordered them a littel bit too big. I do not wear socks with my Five Finger shoes, but was thinking that I would wear socks with these. I wasn't sure whether to order them bigger like I do with normal running shoes, or whether to order them for a glove-like fit -- like my Five Fingers. I opted for ordering bigger -- size 8 vs. my normal 7 or 7.5 everyday shoe. On my first run, I got a blister the back of my heal. I'm very prone to getting blisters here. I changed the way I laced the shoe, and I think it's going to be better, but I also think I should have order a half size smaller. Also, I have a very high instep and wide toes. This shoe accommodates both. The toebox is very roomy, but the lacing system allows a very snug fit.
