    Like many people, I have problem feet! Morton's Neuroma, according to my husband who is an armchair expert :) I also love to walk, so toe pain was a real issue. I tried on a pair of Merrels at a shoe store that is sadly no longer in business, and I was astounded! I had given up on ever feeling comfortable while walking and now with the Barrado, I walk several miles without pain!

    I did order a half size larger than usual. I like the zipper front alot. Easier to get into than slip ons. I also prefer shoes without ties. It is a bit tough to zip at first with thick socks, but they do stretch to fit with persistence. I need some arch support and these feel fine.
