Merrell Captiva Launch Boots - Leather (For Women)

This is the third pair of Merrell Captiva boots I've had. I literally wore my first pair until they started falling apart, and was so happy to find these here at a discount. In addition, I bought a pair of the short version on another site. I've had plantar fasciitis for about a year, and these boots are so comfortable for me that I can wear them all day. They are truly waterproof, and the leather and footbed have held up well. When they started getting old, the leather started wearing off the buttons, so that is a weak point. They look great, and have enough room for me to wear my pants tucked into them. They've got plenty of room in the toe box for movement. I had to go up 1/2 size for these. Also, my first pair was much redder leather than these, so they might have a lot of color variation. Excellent boots!

Love these boots!! Super cute and very comfortable, but my have larger calves. The boots do fit around them, but I could not wear them with pants tucked it.

These boots are comfortable, solidly made, and stylish. I want to wear them all the time. Fit true to size.

I where these boots for work on hard surfaces and my feet and arches are supported. Very comfortable!

I bought these to wear to work/with casual outfits. They are very comfy and the footbed felt broken in straight out of the box. I have athletic calves and have problems finding boots that fit, these fit perfectly. I ordered half a size up and they fit well. The only thing that makes me nervous is that the bottoms could pop off easily, but I haven't had that happen yet so hopefully it won't.

I LOVE my new boots! They are the perfect pairing of form & function! Very attractive AND waterproof! Cushy sole with good support! I LOVE MERRELLS!

I have tried several boots over the last few years, finally gave in and bought these. I was disappointed with all the other boots I've tried, these, on the other hand are perfect. I guess I must have smaller calves, I have no problem wearing these on top of skinny jeans. The footbed is really comfortable, I have avg to a bit narrow feet. I wear them with medium weight socks. I have had no problems with wear, all the buttons are intact after several months of almost everyday wear. They are light yet warm and have had no waterproof problems on sloppy NW winter days. Hope they last forever!!!! Or Merrell keeps making them!!! Bought black early in the season. Great to find an excellent sale price for brown at STP!

These are my ideal boots for looks and versatile use. Even though I don't like the look of the center seam down the toe I bought them anyway because the over-all look and silhouette carried them. They're beautiful and elegant with just a touch of decoration in the buttons and straps. Have heard that the buttons have a rep for coming off but so far, no problem. So glad I broke down and bought these boots, after agonizing about it for quite awhile.

I wear with skirts and tights. The comfort is outstanding. They feel secure on ice and snow.

i love these boots! right out of the box, they fit wonderfully. i'm a size 8 and i ordered an 8 in these. they probably would be a little snug with big thick socks, but i usually wear them with trouser socks or tights and they fit great. super comfy -- no problems at all with rubbing or sore feet after wearing them all day. i saw them on a few other shoe websites, and was thrilled to find them at STP for a much lower cost.
