These are very comfortable shoes to work in all day. They seem to run slightly small, but still fit, just a little less toe room than I am used to. I would definitely buy these again!

These hiking shoes are SO comfortable on my feet. I've taken them to Yosemite and through the Alp, through rain, snow, and mud. It was like hiking in tennis shoes. I personally don't do well with ankle support boots; I would rather be free to move my ankle as the terrain changes, or while hopping through rocks.

Merrell as always has the perfect shoe for me. These fit right and are immediately comfortable. I have problem feet, requiring firm support and a roomy toe box, this shoe/boot delivers.

Since these shoes arrived, I have worn them every day in my job as an equine veterinarian. They were comfy immediately, as well as lightweight. They truly are waterproof too, unlike some other hiking shoes I bought last year. I bought my usual size, and it is perfect.

I love Merrell shoes and boots. They have always provided a good fit right out of the box: I have confidence I can wear them all day without breaking-in. These are sturdier than the Siren Sport model that I've been wearing for a couple of years. Specifically, the toe box has more reinforcement and the sole offers more support (the last is stiffer). They'd be great for a hike in rough terrain. My current use is for DIY projects during which I'm standing on a ladder scraping and sanding paint - the ladder rungs are narrow and my feet started to feel numb after just a few minutes in softer shoes, but these are great for the support I need for the project.
