“These were my second pair of Merrells and I think they run a tiny bit narrow but I think they also stretched a bit as I wore them, so it was just fine. They also took a little bit of breaking in - or maybe I wore the wrong socks. But on my first hike, which was straight up for 2 hours and then right back, straight down -- they were a lifesaver! It was raining and very wet, lots of mud and slippery rocks. I didn't fall and I could feel the lovely support they offered to my ankles. My feet also stayed dry. After this fast paced hike, I had no pain. That to me means that they're perfect.”
