“Comfy”

“I got this shoe for summer hiking. The price is great and Merrell makes a great shoe. I wear a Merrell Radland during the fall and winter months. When this shoe came it wasnt as good looking in person as I thought the pictures showed. The fit with the removeable strap in the back is tight, about a 1/2 size to small. With the straps on my toes are at the end. At first I was dissappointed but I took the straps off and wow what a difference. They are great run about shoes that slip on easily and with the thick Vibram sole and the toe guard its a great and safe shoe. I did try them on a hike recently and while they provide good support and are comfortable the design allows in too much sand and small rocks with no way of getting out without removing the shoe. I bet these shoes would be good for rocky river running or other river sports.”
