These sock, however, are the Cadillac of Socks...the wool blend is so comfy that even my battered heels rest comfortably. And as for looks...I am considering wearing them to the beach. Great price for great socks.

Thick enough for padding, soft, but not so thick they sweat my feet. After washing they don't fall apart or shrink up to some other size. I bought one pair, wore them a few times, then order 6 more pair. Best socks I've owned

Answer The packaging for the socks we have in inventory list the Small as 7-8.5 men's. This may be why they are listed as seconds. The socks are 10 inches long.
