    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I ordered these for my daughter after I purchased a similar pair of Merrells Chameleons for myself (I Loooove mine). Unlike my pair, however, the kid's pair's shock cord (ie substitute shoelace)cannot be tightened, and thus the fit is a little loose unless worn with socks, and is not as customized (or comfortable) as my pair. If it were not for this design flaw, i would have rated these 5 stars like the adult version.
