Merrell Chameleon Wrap Traveler Gore-Tex® XCR® Shoes - Waterproof (For Men)

These shoes should be called "IRONY." Why have great Gore Tex lining if you can't wear the shoes in wet city weather? The Vibram soles turn the shoes into ice skates while walking, esp god forbid, if you happen across metal grating or a sewer cap in the city. I had high hopes for these clunkers, but I gotta send 'em back.

Stylin shoe that I will wear around town and maybe on a short hike but I am disappointed in the width of the shoe. I thought of sending them back and still might (expensive casual shoe). Merrells have always been my favorite until now because of the narrow fit, overall comfort and durability. My feet swim in these shoes. I think they're trying to break into the Keen shoe market because the design might as well be a Keen. I love the looks of Keen but have never been able to fit one comfortably on my thin feet. If Merrell continues down this path, I will be looking for a different favorite shoe company.

I ordered my normal size and 1/2 size larger as the catalog recommended. I'm glad because the 1/2 size larger fits perfectly. Merrell's are my first choice for casual shoes because of my high arch and wider foot - they're a better fit than most.

I hike and hunt a great deal so this shoe has really held up under a lot of wear. As a metal fabricator it helps my feet when standing on concrete and protects them from molten metal. It is the best work and recreation shoe I have found.

Very stylish product. I use this shoe as more of an everyday shoe. It feels like a hiking boot but is stylish enough to wear with khakis.

These do run ~1/2 size smaller than other Merrells that I have.

I love the shoes and after a motorcycle accident I wear them even as dress shoes. A couple of years ago Merrell changed the size slightly and they are about 1/4 size smaller than they used to be. I don't want to go up a half size, but they are just small enough that i need to wear thinner socks. Odd.

Great all around shoe. Rugged enough to track through the mud and looks nice enough to wear as business casual at the office (perhaps that order of events wouldn't be the best- lol). Not a running shoe, but great for all around wear, hiking, etc.

This is a very well-made and attractive shoe, but it does not have the same fit as ALL of the other Merrell shoes I've ever purchased. They run small and also hit my ankles uncomfortably.

Very reliable travel shoes for all seasons.
