“I am a long distance trail runner wearing an 11 1/2 medium shoe. I also run in Asics and Brooks trail shoes and road shoes. The Merrells are very comfortable and broke in quickly for me. They offer good support for the slamming a trail gives them, and they're light enough to use on moderate dirt roads. They are a little wide and don't offer too much stability for pivot on rocks and really bouncing down an uneven trail. This is in comparison to the Brooks Cascadia's, which are my perfect trail shoe. But they were about as good as my Asic Gel Sensors. Cheers!”
