    I love these shoes; they required no break-in and are very cute. Also, I have a high instep and the strap going across the top of my foot doesn't dig in. Nice! Plus, who doesn't like having a random beach scene on the bottom of their shoes?

    Many previous reviewers gave these a poor score for comfort, but think that they are very comfortable. I usually wear 8.5 or 9 shoes, so based on other reviewers comments of rubbing, ordered the 9. The back does chafe a bit right under the Achilles tendon, but a well-placed band-aid took care to the problem.

    Was worried about the color but no worry it was the perfect color to match my sweater. The shoes look great on my feet and I love Merrell shoes because they are always comfortable and support feet well. The only thing I would change is not to make the edges of the fabric raggedy, would make smooth edges.
