Now I can't wear them for more than 1/2 hour at a time. The white mesh stains easily with dirt and won't come out no matter what product you use.

I have 9 pairs of Merrells in my closet and they all fit like a glove--that's why I felt confident buying these shoes. However, something went terribly wrong in this style--I've never suffered such discomfort.
