A comfortable shoe, at a good price.

felt good right out of the box but when wearing it a bit longer, feels a little tight around the toe area with soxes on. The liner inside the shoe tends to stick to the sox so it is very easy to jam the toes tight against the sox since it can't slide into the shoe. But you learn how to put the shoe by completely loosening up the laces.

Love these shoes. They're neither too dressy or too casual. Great with jeans or dockers or knits.

Love these shoes. Wasn't sure about the look but my kids assure me they don't look like "granny shoes" and are actually cool. They fit perfectly and were broken in sooner than I thought. Off to Paris to check them out for some major walking.

I didn't believe the other postings!! Big Mistake These run very narrow, and small. Too bad They seem like they would be comfortable. I would only recommend these if you can get at least a 1/2 larger, AND if you have a narrow foot.

I'm normally a size 5-1/2 or 6, depending on the manufacturer, and should have paid more attention to the comments that they run small. I ordered them in size 6, and found them to be extremely small lengthwize. I returned them for a 6-1/2. They are comfortable only if I wear extremely thin socks, but I am going to keep them. I love the brown/mauve color and they look great with jeans and casual slacks. Another nice feature is that the leather does not seem to stain my light colored socks which has happened with many other new shoes. I've worn them twice so far, but have not walked more than 10 blocks at a time. I'll have to see how they feel on longer walks.

I really love these shoes. They're my first pair of Merrells, and they're really great. They're really cute, although they don't necessarily go with every casual outfit, but are such a great alternative to sneakers. I really love them!

I first got a pair of the brown ones in a 7 1/2 and thought they were comfortable enough that I should look for them in black so I could wear them for my other job *server for a catering company*. I ordered these ones in black in a 1/2 size larger due to reading numerous reviews. Honestly, I can't tell a big difference between the two sizes but the black ones heal rubs my ankle a bit. Nothing that can't be solved by one of those cushion heel sticky objects. I love the look of them and that they are comfortable enough to wear with a 9-5 desk job and are fancy enough without all the discomfort. I am glad that sierra trading post was able to fulfill the my need for comfortable work shoes at a decent price!

Used as an alternate walking shoe for vacation. Nice enough to go to upscale casual restaurants with slacks. Too casual for dressy casual.
