This is a great shoe for casual events and you can even wear it for casual dress up (wouldn't wear them to a black tie affair). Very comfortable in usual Merrell style. Found to be true to size and the arch support is nice in a sandal type shoe.

The dark brown is versatile, sporty yet feminine. I have super-long toes, so it is rare I buy such an open sandal, but these I could not resist. My old pair in a similar style still live on, but they are now for gardening. ;)

Great service and prompt delivery. A really superb shoe for the price--but I ordered my correct size and it feels way too long, in front of my toes and behind my heel, too. I may order a size smaller than I wear, but the width of these is perfect.

First sandals I tried after foot surgery. Cute and comfortable! Stylish enough that you could take one pair on a trip and it would do for most every occasion. My go-to shoe, I'll definitely buy Merrells again.

I was disappointed in these sandals. I thought with Merrell they would be stylish and fit right. They run really wide - I have a narrow foot so the width might work for some. But the style was, in my opinion, pretty "old lady-ish"
    I sent them back.
    • Cons: Poor Fit
    • Pros: Arch Support
    • Sizing: Feels half size too big
    • Width: Feels too wide

    • These sandals so have arch support.

    • Yes, they do have a molded foot support system, and what I read from Merrell's description, it is engineered to roll a woman's foot into the correct position for walking.

    • All the Merrells I have ever had had arch support, so I guess these would also.

    • Yes, they have arch support--the width is great, too--but the shoe is a full size larger in the length with space in front of my toes and behind my heels. It's like I have "mommy's shoes" on.

    • I have relatively low arches, and I do feel supported in the arch area. There is no ankle support, however, but the strap is sturdy for its size and I do not feel like these slip at all after a week of wear.

About Merrell

The story of Merrell boots all started with a guy named Randy Merrell, who began handcrafting leather hiking boots back in 1981, shortly after graduating from industrial shoemaking school. By the mid-80s, Randy’s boots had already gained critical acclaim before being named “best boots in the world” by Backpacker Magazine. The next decade saw the arrival of new footwear, including the ever-popular Jungle Moc, which helped launch the after-sport category. Today, Merrell hiking boots, running shoes and sneakers are still among the best on the market, always combining the newest technology, innovative designs and outstanding comfort. Whether you hike, run, walk or just appreciate high-quality shoes and boots, we’re confident that you’ll love Merrell shoes.
