Merrell Fluid Gore-Tex® Jacket - Waterproof (For Men)

A lightweight, simply styled jacket but sized for a very long-limbed, slim person. Was intended as a gift, but was too narrow in the chest and shoulders. I then tried it on myself: am 6 feet tall and still have to roll up the sleeves.

Even though I purchased this jacket on "top secret sale" and thus had it for less than 100 dollars, I found it totally impossible to meet my needs. This parka is going back. It feels like you should be extra vigilant doing sudden movements, otherwise the jacket can get ripped apart. Simply said, it feels tight and is only worth the money for people who like running in the rain or doing any sports activity requiring light and easy-to-pack jacket.

The jacket has a very strange cut. I am thin with a thin neck, but this jacket's neck opening is disproportionally small for the jacket's size. I tried a medium and a large. The neck was too tight to accommodate any layers, despite the "belly" section being huge. Might have been better if I unfurled the hood out of the collar, but I did not want to be limited to that mode. The jacket is very light (in a good way.) My wife did not like the blue color--the shade was too light. The price is excellent, but this item didn't work for me.

Nice jacket, but the paper tag stated it was a large size (what I ordered). The printed size on the inside of the jacket shows it to be XL. I would say it is a large jacket with XL length sleeves since the sleeve length is a couple of extra inches long. Also: the website describes an "Inner zip pocket with pouch for media device and earphones" - there was no such feature in the jacket I received. A bit of a disappointment in the truth-in-advertising department.

Needs a back vent.

I use this jacket while running and doing triathalons. It keeps the wind out. nice and light

it reqlly working, and it is breatheble. Very good jacket

This jacket is perfectly made... light shell only... so it is very versatile. Wear it over light clothing for downpour in heat (like yesterday) or pack it for use in winter. Did I say perfect, best shell I have ever seen in my life of 42 years... wow...
