“Least Comfy Merrells I've Ever Tried”

“Maybe it's just me, but I have high expectations regarding comfort when I buy a Merrell product and these didn't live up to that. They seem sturdy and well made, and the minimal lacing system seems adequate for casual treking, but they just are not comfy. There's no "cush" in the step and they seem to run a little short (not quite a full half size but noticeable.) Anyway, I had high hopes but am returning these. Oh, I've got what I consider a normal foot, not narrow, not wide and usually wear a 10 in just about everything except Lowas and Montrails where I go at least a half size larger. Hope this helps; they're not bad boots (and not bad looking, either) but they're not for me.”
