Merrell Inbound Chukka Boots (For Men)

It's a pair of boots for god sake,let's not stupid about a [*] boot!

These would have been perfect except that they run a FULL SIZE TOO SMALL!!! I had to send them back.

Maybe it's just me, but I have high expectations regarding comfort when I buy a Merrell product and these didn't live up to that. They seem sturdy and well made, and the minimal lacing system seems adequate for casual treking, but they just are not comfy. There's no "cush" in the step and they seem to run a little short (not quite a full half size but noticeable.) Anyway, I had high hopes but am returning these. Oh, I've got what I consider a normal foot, not narrow, not wide and usually wear a 10 in just about everything except Lowas and Montrails where I go at least a half size larger. Hope this helps; they're not bad boots (and not bad looking, either) but they're not for me.

These look very nice, but run about 1/2 size too small when compared to other shoes/boots I have ordered in the same size. I had to return.

The poor tootsies (2 surgeries later) need a huge toe box; the dog and I need to walk a lot. These boots do the trick perfectly.

Good casual look

I have a hard time getting my feet into them. First I tried cotton socks, then wool socks. The lining grabs and sock and won't let your feet slide in naturally. Socks bunch in the heel and are tight around the toes making walking in them uncomfortable. I have worn them several times now and there is no difference. Hadn't had a pair of Merrell shoes for a few years. Quality of their shoes has definitely declined. They are going to the thrift shop this weekend.

These are good every day boots. My only complaint is that they are difficult to put on. You have to loosen the laces quite a bit to slide your foot in. Other than that, they feel good and offer good traction.

nice looking with jeans or casual pants. Takes 1-2 wearings to soften up the uppers, but well worth it!
