Takes the place of a hot tennis shoe in this heat but feels just as comfy with letting your feet have air to them, great shoe

I have a high instep foot and was worried the top strap would be too tight. This works perfect for me. Propably would not work on a "skinny" foot. Very comfortable! I love this shoe.

These are very attractive shoes, and being Merrels, they were also lightweight and seem to be well constructed. But the fit was simply bizarre. I went half a size down from regular shoes, as I normally do for sandals. But when I put these on, the straps that go over the tops of my feet were WAY too big. I could fit several fingers between the top of my foot and the mid-foot straps, which were unadjustable. Maybe I just have strange feet. But these definitely were not sized for me. In terms of length and width, they were great, but the unadjustable straps just made them unusable. Too bad. They were returned.

About Merrell

The story of Merrell boots all started with a guy named Randy Merrell, who began handcrafting leather hiking boots back in 1981, shortly after graduating from industrial shoemaking school. By the mid-80s, Randy’s boots had already gained critical acclaim before being named “best boots in the world” by Backpacker Magazine. The next decade saw the arrival of new footwear, including the ever-popular Jungle Moc, which helped launch the after-sport category. Today, Merrell hiking boots, running shoes and sneakers are still among the best on the market, always combining the newest technology, innovative designs and outstanding comfort. Whether you hike, run, walk or just appreciate high-quality shoes and boots, we’re confident that you’ll love Merrell shoes.
