Merrell Lorelei Shoes - Leather (For Women)

I love Merrell shoes, and would have loved these if they'd been much larger (I'd guess at least two sizes) and wider (could they have been XN (extra narrow)? I really think they must have been mis-marked. I've never known Merrell to be so wrong.

Someone else commented about Merrell over pronating their shoes. I couldn't agree more. I would blow out my knees in these

I agree with other reviews that the insole support is poor. It is just a flat pad and my feet pronated even more, even though the shoes fit great otherwise. The shoes are hip and feel very light so I really wanted to keep them. For the price of return postage, I bought some arch and heel supports that were just easy to slip into the shoes and now they feel wonderful.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Paris. I wanted casual walking shoes. These are definitely NOT walking shoes. They offer very little support (though the certainly are lightweight), and chafed against the heal. After walking around the city for an afternoon, I had the biggest blisted I've ever had on one of my toes. Took three weeks to go away. These shoes might be fine for very light wear, but if you'll be walking more than an hour or two in day, choose something else.

I bought these for my wife, and she loves them. She wears them at least a couple of times a week to work or out afterwards and always comments on how comfortable they are.
