Nice shoes, pretty comfortable but a little small. width is ok, but I feel like they may be a half size small. I'm keeping them, but they are my back up shoes now.

I really, really wanted to like these shoes. Merrell usually fits me quite well. They were good-looking and appeared to be well made, and they seemed likely to be comfortable when I first put them on. However, I found the toe box too narrow and the heel cup too wide. If I tied the shoe for a looes fit, I could feel my foot slipping forward as I walked, jamming my toes into the narrow toe box even more. If I tied the laces for a firm fit, the shoe pressed the top of my foot in all the wrong places. I swapped in a different pair of insoles from another pair of Merrells that fit me quite well, but it didn't help at all. I would love to see the foot they had in mind when they designed this. I hope this is just an anomaly with this style or even with this particular pair of shoes. As I said, I like Merrell and I'd hate to have to give up on the brand.

I bought my first pair of Merrells a few week ago, this is the second pair and I like them as much as the first pair. Merrell strikes me as good value for the money and I like the looks, they're a little more discreet then some of the Buck Rogers productions on offer. They also fit well and perform well.

Great shoe for fall winter wear around town. Merrell seems to always fit well, unlike Vasque (last pair too tight in the toe, or New Balance (last pair too loose). Good quality for the money and with Sierra Trading Post prices, can't be beat.
