Not a fashion slave but these pants look GOOD. Nice stitching and detail. Plenty of room in the seat and top of the thighs. Size seems accurate if not a little long in the inseam. Ultra-light weight but not flimsy as they hold shape through multiple wearings.

it is a very good pant, especially at this ridiculously low price.
but the size ruins the fairytale.
i usually wear w30, but recently my waist shrink to 28/29 (not sure which size, but my brand new jeans of w30 become redundant) after 2 months systematic resistance training and jogging. so i chose the w28 following other reviewer's suggestion. however, it is still way too loose. good news is it is still wearable with belt. i will keep it and still wear it to travel to hawaii in 2 weeks.

I bought this mainly for summer travel. Though I may wear it in winter with a base layer. So far I have not tried it outside yet. So I can't tell if it's breathable in the heat. I usually wear 31" or 32" waist. After reading previous reviews regarding the size, I ordered 30" which fits me well.
Pros - Simple style, stretch fabric, nice color (boulder), light and packable, quick dry (I haven't washed it but it feels like it will hang dry fast.)
Cons - sizing - need to order 1 or 2 inch smaller on the waist which I did. Snap buckle on the waist instead of a button. Zipper cover fabric doesn't seem to be straight.
Overall I like this pair of pans and Merrell seems to put some good thought into its designs except the snap buckles.
