I needed something that could handle a variety of travel situations that could be used with skirts at the end of the day or for hiking around ruins then lunch at a stylish cafe. These are wonderful. They are cutely different, comfy, light enough to pack, wear with shorts, skirts pants. The cords across my skinny feet do not bind, but hold my feet in, They are another fine Merril shoe.
