I usually wear a size 7 or 7 1/2 and bought the 7. It fits fine. I have a high arch and the laces are a little tight but not to the point of cutting them off. A breaking in period was needed. This is a fun shoe for summer and the green color is cheerful.

Love Merril as they seem to fit my skinny, bony, high arched feet. I needed something that could handle a variety of travel situations that could be used with skirts at the end of the day or for hiking around ruins then lunch at a stylish cafe. These are wonderful. They are cutely different, comfy, light enough to pack, wear with shorts, skirts pants. The cords across my skinny feet do not bind, but hold my feet in, They are another fine Merril shoe.

So comfy that i wore them immediately to work for an 8hr day on my feet. Only problem was that the right shoe rubbed a blister above the toes. Probably my fault for not breaking them in slowly!

About Merrell

The story of Merrell boots all started with a guy named Randy Merrell, who began handcrafting leather hiking boots back in 1981, shortly after graduating from industrial shoemaking school. By the mid-80s, Randy’s boots had already gained critical acclaim before being named “best boots in the world” by Backpacker Magazine. The next decade saw the arrival of new footwear, including the ever-popular Jungle Moc, which helped launch the after-sport category. Today, Merrell hiking boots, running shoes and sneakers are still among the best on the market, always combining the newest technology, innovative designs and outstanding comfort. Whether you hike, run, walk or just appreciate high-quality shoes and boots, we’re confident that you’ll love Merrell shoes.
