5.0 out of 5 stars. Merrell Mimosa's a great!

These boots have a great sporting look to them and I enjoy wearing them when Im running errands around town. There very light but still very warm. They also have a good tread on the sole so you feel secure wearing them when its slippery outside. I sprayed mine with a good waterproof spray so the leather will keep looking good for a long time. Ive only had them for a few weeks but have enjoyed wearing them multiple times already. Im very happy with my purchase.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Come on winter.

I purchased these to wear on the colder days here in Florida. I wanted a boot that was comfortable, water resistant, and warm. I've put these on for a brief period and they seem to be the ticket. I might have to wear thinner socks with them. I wear a size 6 to 6.5. These are a size 6 and are snug with a medium thickness cotton socks.

I usually wear a 7 or a 7.5 size shoe. In Merrells specifically I am a solid 7.5. Due to the some of the reviews stating they ran small I ordered an 8. Way to BIG. I was swimming in them. There were no half sizes available so I just exchanged them for a 7. Cute lightweight boot but I had a 35% off coupon and would no way pay 100+ dollars for these boots unless they were onsale. They are an original and good looking boot and seem perfect for weather that is not frigid cold. I needed an in between boot....so they appear to be good for this due to the mesh mixed with suede.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Very comfortable, but runs a little small

I have these boots in brown. I found them to be very comforatble with silk liner socks or stockings, but they are too snug for socks. Good quality. They have held up well to Northeast Pennsylvania winter/early spring weather.

I really liked the boots but they're too small. I was disappointed that they didn't fit and 1/2 size larger was not available. I had to return but I would rather have exchanged.

I LOVED MERRELLS!--- Not so much today after i got this pair, the material is made of an odd combination of suede and some kind of ballistic nylon, making the boot very, very stiff. In addition, this is one of those Q form shoes and I felt none of that when i am standing in them. A quick inspection inside reveals no supportive looking foot bed, even thought there is one in there, it looks completely flat. The heel is relatively modest in size/height, therefore, walking will not elicit the same comfort of absorption as i am accustomed to from older merrells which is why I bought this one. I needed a replacement of a pair of merrells i had worn down to its last breath, but probably still had a few more miles in it to trade up to this....what a mistake, not even close. In addition, I am not in love with the style, I only got this because i wanted a pair of boots to slosh thru the NYC winter, wishing, in comfort. This boot just don't make the cut. I am completely disappointed with the quality of Merrells recently. I will be looking for another BRAND of shoes that can match the satisfaction of what former /older Merrells brought to their customers.

About Merrell

The story of Merrell boots all started with a guy named Randy Merrell, who began handcrafting leather hiking boots back in 1981, shortly after graduating from industrial shoemaking school. By the mid-80s, Randy’s boots had already gained critical acclaim before being named “best boots in the world” by Backpacker Magazine. The next decade saw the arrival of new footwear, including the ever-popular Jungle Moc, which helped launch the after-sport category. Today, Merrell hiking boots, running shoes and sneakers are still among the best on the market, always combining the newest technology, innovative designs and outstanding comfort. Whether you hike, run, walk or just appreciate high-quality shoes and boots, we’re confident that you’ll love Merrell shoes.
